The Jamaica Plain Herbalists/Alternative Health Meetup

Meet local herbalists and those who are interested in working with herbs for health. Go on herb walks and learn how to identify medicinal plants in their various stages of development. Attend herbal gatherings to learn how to use herbs in teas, tinctures, salves, flower essences and oils. Participate in monthly classes on using herbs to promote health & wellness. Connect with plants through guided meditations and learn about the energetics of herbal medicine.

Our next meeting:
Medicinal Plant Walk
We will be meeting in Jamaica Plain, MA for a one hour herb walk. I will be pointing out herbs and their popular uses in herbal medicine. We will not be harvesting any herbs.
For our June meeting we will be meeting in the Arnold Arboretum on the Peter's Hill side which has many friendly unleashed dogs. You may want to bring a notebook, pen and some drinking water. Read more
